The most famous chord in rock 'n' roll, dissected
Paul McCartney was said to have been highly annoyed when one critic called Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band the "best album yet" from the Beatles' steller producer, George Martin.
Martin, in his 80s now, is almost deaf, but his son let Canadian rocker Randy Bachman into the Abbey Road studios to settle long-running speculation about exactly how the opening to A Hard Day's Night, rock's most famous chord, was constructed. Below: Miramax rerelease trailer.
