40 human rights groups critizcise Sochi Olympic sponsors Atos, Coca Cola, Dow Chemical, General Electric, McDonald’s, Omega, Panasonic, Procter & Gamble, Samsung, and Visa for not defending LGBTs

Perhaps the most coldly dismissive statement so far in respect of LGBT concerns was issued by Panasonic:

  ...the company “has no involvement in, and is not in a position to comment on political and social matters related to the Olympic Games or specific governments in any country or region.”
