Bashing outside Blue Moon, Pittsburgh gay bar

Three have been arrested. Sloviak and his boyfriend were assaulted outside Lawrenceville's Blue Moon, a gay bar AKSARBENT has visited. They were set upon after defiantly yelling "Yeah, we're faggots!" in response to invective shouted at them from across the street.
Lawrenceville is a waterfront Pittsburgh neighborhood founded in 1814 by William Foster, the father of composer Stephen Foster. It is being gentrified and has a large presence of hipsters and gays alongside lifelong neighborhood residents.
Pennsylvania's hate crimes law does not include sexual orientation or gender identity.
