Century Link Internet outage in Nebraska

At about 2:30 a.m., CST, AKSARBENT's Internet service stopped. Since we were working on a post about REAL journalists who were trying to get answers about President Obama's Kill List of Terrorists, including a 16-year-old American citizen executed in Yemen, we had our paranoid suspicions, but it turned out to be a widespread service failure about which Century Link would say little, however we were told that the outage affected more than Omaha.
     We were also promised a credit on our bill for the interruption, which was supposed to last 4-7 hours. We'll see about that.
