An 841-square-feet topographical map of the Gettysburg battlefield — with blinking lights illustrating troop movement — was listed at the GSA auction site for $5 with no bidders as of yesterday. The 1962 map, which cost $100,000, contains friable asbestos plaster.
The Gettysburg National Historical Park removed the map from the site in 2008.
