New gay lawsuits filed against school districts in Missouri and Minnesota

A sixth Minnesota teen has sued the Anoka-Hennepin school district in a companion suit to the one filed by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) and the National Center for Lesbian Rights (NCLR), and Education Week reports that the ACLU has had to go to court for the first time to sue a recalcitrant Missouri school district for improper Web filtering practices.

Removing the Glove is a short play about left-handed people but is really a clever allegory
about homophobia in high school. The Drury Drama Team of North Adams, Massachusetts
was one of the first groups to perform this work. It was staged at the International
Thespian Festival in Lincoln, Nebraska by International Thespian Society Troupe # 5135.
It then went on the road to schools in Western Massachusetts. The author is Clarence Coo.
He was a college student at the time. Drury High School: www.drurydrama.com
