Republican Dwayne Alons of Hull, who represents Iowa House District 4, is among the most homophobic of Iowa's House Republicans, every one of which recently voted to advance a bill he cosponsored, HJR6, which would ban same-sex marriages, civil unions and domestic partnerships in Iowa.

Hull, of course, is the home of the Pizza Ranch chain, cofounded by a pedophile, which will host meetings at 30 of the stops on Bob Vanderplaats' current "Capturing Momentum" Iowa tour.

Vanderplaats was the principal architect of the recent successful recall of three of Iowa's Supreme Court Justices because they ruled in favor of same sex marriage. He is also the leader of Iowa's Family Leader, a group that vilifies gay people in church-targeted seminars and literature. Iowa's Family Leader denies ties to the national, Mormon-led organization with the same name.
