Ted Nugent, reactionary dipshit, but still smarter than a British journalist |
Regrettably (from the deer and pheasant Iowegian perspective) all five sportsmen are expected to survive their injuries.
One hunter shot himself in the foot; the rest were shot by others in their hunting party.
As the Associated Press report made no mention of alcohol, readers of this blog are sternly admonished not to assume that any affected hunters or hunting companions were in any way intoxicated.
The photo accompanying this post has nothing to do with this story, except to provide an excuse to reprint the following exchange between alleged musician, proven Francophobe and friend-of-Sarah-Palin Ted Nugent and a British journalist, as recounted in a blog about South Dakota Politics.
The journalist asked: "What do you think the last thought is in the mind of a deer before you shoot it ? Is it, `Are you my friend?` or is it `Are you the one who killed my brother?'"Rather uppity words from a man who only shoots at things which don't shoot back.
Nugent replied: "Deer aren't capable of that kind of thinking. All they care about is, 'What am I going to eat next, who am I going to screw next, and can I run fast enough to get away? They are very much like the French."
Ted does have a point about the french. he left out the part about neither deer nor the french being able to properly use a gun.
