His name was Michael Hance and he was on a bucket brigade in the aftermath of 9/11, which is thought to have led to the brain cancer that spread and killed him. The Daily News said Hance, who worked out of the 111th Precinct in Bayside, Queens, was
diagnosed in November "after he fell in front of his
home and complained of feeling dizzy, his brother said. As he fought the
