Omahan Seth Rich, alleged DNC email Wikileaker, was murdered in DC 'robbery' — but cops found his valuables still on his person

Multiple outlets have reported that after he was shot to death in D.C. on July 10th, that Seth Rich's valuables were found, intact, on his person by police. Some 'robbery,' huh?
Here's what Rich's father KMTV in Omaha:
“If it was a robbery — it failed because he still has his watch, he still has his money — he still has his credit cards, still had his phone so it was a wasted effort except we lost a life.”

Julian Assange all but flatly stated to Dutch TV that Rich provided DNC emails to Wikileaks:
Assange: Whistleblowers to go significant efforts to get us material at often very significant risks. The 27-year-old who worked for the DNC was shot in the back — murdered — just two weeks ago for unknown reasons as he was walking down the street in Washington...
Interviewer: That was just a robbery, I believe, wasn't it?
Assange: No, there's no finding...
Interviewer: What are you suggesting?
Assange: I'm suggesting that our sources take risks...
Interviewer: Was he one of your sources?
Assange: We don't comment on who our sources are...
