Omaha's election is tomorrow — vote!

Last week two of the three at-large city council seats in Lincoln were captured by extremely doctrinaire Republicans (including this very antigay Mormon candidate) because progressive voters sat on their hands. Don't allow a repeat of that tomorrow here in Omaha.

Bold Nebraska has an Omaha voter's guide here. It likes:

Mayor: Jim Suttle
District 7: No preference
District 6: Phil Klein
District 5: Jeff Moore
District 4: Garry Gernandt
District 3: Chris Jerram
District 2: Ben Gray
District 1: Pete Festersen

Vote, Omahans, and remember this: Although you can't take electioneering materials to the polls with you, you CAN take the nonpartisan League of Women Voters' guide (available at the library) with you to choose candidates in the smaller races, like School Board, OPPD, NRD, Board of Regents, etc. Do so. It's a smarter way to make your vote count.

Finally, if you're gay and this video of Jean Stothert, who intends to get rid of employment protection for gay people in Omaha, doesn't get you to the voting booth, nothing will:
