Nebraska Watchdog has the story here. To us it seems like the Omaha Police Union and Jean Stothert are like two tarantulas in a bottle. We'd say they deserve each other but their respective behaviors creep us out too much to be ironic about the tit for tat.
Remember the ethics of the Omaha Police Union and what it just did to the personal privacy of a political candidate the next time cops insist that to "fight crime" they need even more power to gather your DNA, snoop through the data on your cell phone, computer, email and facebook accounts, sift through (and sometimes plant evidence in) your trash, attach GPS devices to your car when it's parked in your driveway or on the street, or purchase drones to fly over your neighborhood that can image through walls.
