Hotbeds of homophobia in Nebraska and Iowa

Each term was mapped according to tweets which had geotagging turned on. The homophobic terms were collated at the county level and were proportionate to the number of tweets sent. Click each map to see what pejorative (dyke, fag, queer and homo) lit up the knuckledraggers and where they were when they took to twitter to vent their spleens.
