Marc Elliot has both OCD and Tourette's; the OCD often makes him think of the worst thing that could be said in a given situation and the Tourette's often makes him say it. This wasn't fun for his gay brother who, as a young teenager was simul­taneously trying to get a handle on his sexual orientation and deal with a brother who frequently called him "faggot," albeit not in a deliberate way.
