US firm traces theft of hundreds of terabytes of data from 141 US organizations to 12-story Shanghai office building run by Unit 61398 of People's Liberation Army

WaPo says: "In a statement faxed to The Associated Press, the Defense Ministry firmly rejected any involvement in hacking, saying Chinese law forbids all activities harming Internet security."
In related news, Chinese law explicitly criminalizes the counterfeiting of trademarked and copyrighted goods!
Here at AKSARBENT, we wonder why the Chinese bothered to launder their denial through the AP, when they could have more efficiently sent their protestations directly to the personal email inboxes and facebook accounts of various interested parties in the USA.
