How to choose a doctor

Never choose a doctor based on convenience, and remember the P's:

• Professional: What board certification does the specialist have? All physicians are MDs. Not all are board certified.
• Practice: What subspecialty does your physician specialize in?
• Procedure: How many times has the physician performed the surgicial procedure you need?
• Personal: How does the doctor and his front office staff communicate with patients?
