Columbia Pictures founder Harry Cohn's manse gets once-over by both Jerry Bruckheimer and Diddy

Harry Cohn was a legendary Hollywood pig; so much so, in fact, that he was the butt of a famous Tinseltown story about a reporter being so perplexed at the turnout for the mogul's funeral that he asked comedian Red Skelton for an explanation, which was: "Give the people what they want and you'll always draw a crowd!"
The house, 19,590 square feet on 2 acres just north of the Beverly Hills Hotel has seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms and was listed for 24.5 million following the bankruptcy of its latest custodian, Guess? founder Georges Marciano. Bruckheimer reportedly bid $23m.
The estate was designed in 1927 by Robert D. Farquhar; much of the old glamour is intact, particularly the striking black-and-white chequered entryway.
The Daily Mail says Bruckheimer, producer of such profitable crap as Top Gun, is worth about $850m and rap star/toiletry tycoon Diddy, about $550m. Go Realtors!
