Egypt's Muslim Glenn Beck, who ignited anti­American violence: he hates gays and atheists, too

He is Sheik Khaled Abdalla, who Time magazine describes as:

A fiery Egyptian TV host on the Islamist satellite TV channel al-Nas, Abdalla is reported to have set off the outrage when he broadcast a clip of the movie trailer that showed the man playing Muhammad. After he showed the video on Sept. 8, the Atlantic Wire reports, online views of the video soared. According to the Guardian, Abdalla drums up outrage among his audience by homing in on perceived threats to Islam and intensifying them.

Full disclosure: the above clip is from the Middle East Media Research Institute (www.memritv.org) which states that its goal is to "bridge the language gap that exists between the Middle East and the West," but which basically excerpts the most alarming and incendiary Arab television it can find, translates it into English, and distributes it via the Internet.
     MEMRI was co-founded in 1998 by Yigal Carmon, a former colonel in the Israeli military intelligence and Meyrav Wurmser, an Israeli-born, American political scientist.

PRA considers that “MEMRI's slogan, ‘Bridging the Language Gap Between the Middle East and the West,’ does not convey the institute's stridently pro-Israel and anti-Arab political bias.” It further notes, that MEMRI's founders, Wurmser and Carmon, “are both hardline pro-Israel ideologues aligned with Israel's Likud party.”
