Romney firm shipping Illinois Sensata jobs to China

Below: Soon-to-be-fired Sensata employees protest a country club fundraiser for House Majority Leader John Boehner and Illinois Rep. Bobby Schilling, both of whom helped kill the "Bring Jobs Home Act" in Congress. WREX: "Boehner and Schilling said no to media at their event. This was after not telling anyone they would even be in town."

Freeport mayor George Gaulrapp: This
company is competitive globally. They
make a profit here. But Bain Capital
decided to squeeze it a little further.
Bain Capital, the firm in which GOP presidential candidate still has millions of dollars in shares, is dismantling a profitable Freeport, Illinois auto sensor plant, owned by Sensata, in which Bain has a large stake, axing 170 employees and forcing them to train their Chinese replacements.
"I didn't have a clue what Bain was before this happened," said Cheryl Randecker, 52, who apparently ignores politics until it affects her paycheck. "Now when I hear Romney speak it makes me sick to my stomach."
