International Olympic Committee meeting protest planned this weekend

Pink News reports that Peter Tatchell, Director of the Peter Tatchell Foundation, has written an open letter to Lord Coe and Jacques Rogge and will lead a protest this Sunday, July 22 from 11.30am to 1pm of the IOC executive meeting at the Hilton Hotel, 22 Park Lane, London W1K 1BE (Nearest tube: Hyde Park Corner.

“The IOC should disqualify from the Olympics countries that discriminate against athletes on the grounds of gender, ethnicity, religion/belief, sexual orientation or gender identity. The Olympic Charter prohibits discrimination in sport but it is not being enforced by the IOC.”
