25-year-old Jon Ferguson, of Edmund, Oklahoma, a suburb of Oklahoma City, woke up Saturday morning to the blare of his Camaro's alarm. When he went out to investigate, he saw two people vandalizing his vehicle. As he approached, one of them threw a fire bomb into his car. Ferguson sustained first and second degree burns to his face, arms and
torso and was rushed to the hospital in an
ambulance. Later he discovered that "FAG" was spray-painted on that thing Camaros have that is usually called a trunk.
Oklahoma Fire Chief Homer Jones told
KWTV, the city's CBS affiliate, that if it's a hate crime, (evidently he's still deciding) then his department and the police would continue to investigate.
