Geoff Mulvihill reports that the twenty-something man, known only as "M.B.," who made out with Tyler Clementi in his Rutgers dorm room while being recorded by a webcam, testified Friday in the trial of Clementi’s roommate, Dharun Ravi, who is charged with bias intimidation, invasion of privacy and other crimes.

"I had just glanced over my shoulder and I noticed there was a webcam that was faced toward the direction of the bed," said the man, identified only by the initials M.B. "Just being in a compromising position and seeing a camera lens - it just stuck out to me."
M.B. met Clementi thrice; the second encounter, 9/19 was when the two had sex. Although people who saw the webcam images have testified that they saw nothing more graphic than a few seconds of kissing, M.B. said in court that about five students were looking at him as he left the building, which he characterized as "unsettling."
Following his third meeting with Clementi, M.B. testified that he heard comments from the dorm courtyard outside that bothered him. He was not allowed to repeat the comments.
