Financial crisis: MSNBC's Dan Ratigan steps off the curb (but he's right)

(Via Joe.My.God. See blog list.)

Reclaiming democracy from corporations involves one thing: taking money out of politics. Instead of playing whack-a-mole by passing law after loophole-ridden law limiting campaign contributions, the US should do what other countries have: limit how much may be spent on campaigns. But first we need to replace a few members of the Supreme Court (starting with John Roberts) who insist on equating free speech for people to political advertising by corporations.
