Michele and Marcus Bachmann: NYT blogger ponders 'therapist with a field of federally fertilized corn'

In noting Michele Bachmann's claim that God is writing the script for her campaign, New York Times blogger Timothy Egan opines that He needs a fact checker and playfully wonders that if abolitionist John Quincy Adams was a "founding father" — as Bachmann asserts — whether Sasha Obama, age 10, will be entitled to be remembered for killing the world's top terrorist.
     After summing the state and federal funding for Bachmann's husband's Christian counseling clinic, and subsidies for her in-laws' farm (in which Michele and Marcus are partners), Egan riffs on what it must be like to be "a therapist with a field of federally fertilized corn."
