Family Matters of South Dakota attacks Rapid City council candidate with last minute pink “radical homosexual agenda” mailers

Kevin Wooster of the Rapid City reports that Family Matters of South Dakota has made a mass mailing of pink literature which attacks Ward 2 candidate Ritchie Nordstrom in the final days campaigning for city council in Rapid City.
The mailing shows a picture of a person with a bag over his head, next to the headline: “What is city council candidate Ritchie Nordstrom trying to hide?”
A second picture in the mailing shows two young men with their heads close together, holding hands and smiling, near a headline that reads: “Ritchie Nordstrom says YOU should accept this.”
...A smaller headline says: “Why is Ritchie Nordstrom supporting this radical homosexual agenda.”
Nordstrom said Wednesday that he isn’t quite sure what a “radical homosexual agenda” is. But he is pretty sure he doesn’t support it. Nordstrom said he does support equal rights for all, including gays, but does not believe in special rights for anyone.
Family Matters PAC, is based in Hermosa and coordinated by David Astin who did not return calls from the Rapid City Journal seeking comment.
