Why listen to so-called pundits or even the president's State of the Union speech when you can feast on Bill Moyers' impeccable perspective. Speaking of which, Mr. Moyers offers a good yardstick of the relative importance of current events by reviving George Bernard Shaw's trenchant complaint that journalists are seemingly unable to discriminate between a bicycle accident and the collapse of civilization.
