Florida Family association website hacked; perp says s/he has all donors' credit card numbers

David Caton, Executive
Director, Florida Family Assoc.,
presided over theft of donors'
financial information
Due to the negligence of the Florida Family Association, its website was hacked and altered Monday and the perp says its donors' credit card numbers have been downloaded. The hacker published the email addresses and contributions of a few donors. This follows FFA's successful intimidation of Lowe's, after which it canceled ads on the "All American Muslim" reality series on cable network TLC.

The hacker left the following for FFA:
Florida Family Association feels the need to put hate at the forefront of what it stands for.
Your hatred, bigotry and fear mongering towards Gays, Lesbians and most recently Muslim Americans has not gone unnoticed!
Anonymous will not stand for hate and divisive vitriol to be spread across our country and whenever we can…we will stop it…
FFA you managed to use your power to influence Lowe’s to follow you into your racist stupor and they too will answer for that…
For now, you will answer to it..as well as your unfortunate followers having personal information shared with the world so everyone can know how racist and hateful you all are.
I am going to assume most of the people who receive your newsletter, email you and make donations are potentially part of the 99%. They are likely lower middle class people who have been mislead by all of your bullshit and god talk…therefor they too are unwitting victims. So I will NOT share all of the Credit Card information I got.
I am though reading the emails and getting information on those who did donate to make sure they are not worthy of the scorn of Anonymous as well…if i find information such as anyone being a part of other hate groups such as the Klan or anything similar all bets are off for those people.
Also, I am looking for you Steve Ensley…and I will find you.
I want all of your followers to know though their information is NOT SAFE in your hands until you address your security issues.
Meanwhile, a backlash against Lowe's, for capitulating to a Florida hate group, is growing.

UPDATE: TheRawStory noticed an acknowlegement on FFA's website of the attack, yesterday:
“Because of our real concern for the terrorism that is a way of life for some folks, we ourselves have become victims,” a message on the front page read. “Because we urge others to be vigilant, we become the targets. Don’t let it happen folks, take a stand before it is too late.”
However, that statement appears to have been removed by FFA as of today. Perhaps FFA is afraid that its contributors will no longer trust it to safeguard their identities or financial information.

  1. I suggest that Eugene Delguadio, the one-man anti-gay fund-raiser and email harvester of Loudon county, VA also merits this treatment.

  2. The Florida Family Association Inc. (David Caton President) 990 tax filings have some interesting information. They claim in recent years to have received no donation for more than 2% of the total donated. Thus no donors are reportable to the IRS. That seems atypical for these types of organizations.

More interesting are the expenditures for various types of insurance which are not listed as employee compensation, but which in some recent years exceed all salaries paid by the organization.

Someone should have this looked at by a qualified expert to determine if anything is irregular in these filings.

    Can you help with this?
