2015 Gay Pride: Omaha, Des Moines, KC, St. Louis

Omaha's Gay Pride events run from June 12 to June 20. The events page is here, although the time for the start of the parade is inexplicably missing as of this writing, June 1. So are some other details for other events.

KANSAS CITY (6/5-7/2015)

     Des Moines Gay Pride 2015 runs from Friday, 6/12 through Sunday 6/14 and Monday is Gay Day at Adventureland.
      Belinda Carlisle, of the Go-Gos, will entertain at 9:15 on Sunday.
     The 37th annual parade starts at 1 pm Sunday. The parade route is here — it starts on East Locust, which the map does not make clear, though the schedule, at right, does.

Kansas City no longer has a Gay Day Parade (the loss of which is lamented here) but the gay pride events schedule is here  and the entertainment events page is here.

ST. LOUIS (6/26-28/2015)

St. Louis, more politically minded than KC, hasn't abandoned its parade (St. Louis's second-largest). This year, it starts Sunday, June 28th at Noon on Market Street (later this year) — the Festival grounds open at 11am.
Hours:
Friday, June 26 – 4:30pm to 11:30pm
Saturday, June 27 – 11am to 9:30pm
Sunday, June 28 – 11am to 7:30pm (Parade begins at 12 noon)
     Parade details, including a map are here. and details about festival events and entertainment are here. On Friday there will be a Pride [Micro]Brewfest and dance party. Out-of-towners staying at the fabulous Lumiere Casino/Hotel can get a 10% discount by mentioning "Pride15" when making reservations.
