How GOP shutdown is hurting the people who grow and raise your food

Here are three problems:

1. Farm Service Agency offices can't document losses of thousands of cattle killed by early blizzard in South Dakota 
2. Lost access to Ag Department's reporting on grain, cattle and hog sales for futures trading
3. Farmers can't deposit checks from selling grain and livestock to pay bills because FSA must co-endorse those checks and local FSA offices are closed
