Ellen calls bluff of American Family Association's 40,000-member 'Million Moms'

The New Civil Rights movement pointedly observed:

The American Family Association is comically unaware that making Americans choose between Ellen DeGeneres, whose show has won dozens of Emmys and has many millions of daily viewers and is the number one show among women 18-49 and 25-54, makes them automatic losers. DeGeneres has 9 million Twitter followers, and millions of fans on Facebook. She is literally beloved by more millions than have ever even heard of the AFA or One Million Moms.

Degeneres masterfully eviscerated the American Family Association with its own words, with facts, and with postings from the so-called Million moms facebook page written by her supporters. (The embedding code from the Ellen show website won't play either on Towleroad or on AKSARBENT's blogspot blog, but you may view it here and should, for, if nothing else, a master's class in a PR response to an cynically orchestrated political attack by paper tiger bullies.
     By the way, even right-wing nutcase Bill O'Reilly defended Ellen on his otherwise pathetic Fox program, although as Cenk Uygur astutely pointed out, O'Reilly may have a dog in the boycott fight as they make him very nervous, considering the emnity he has earned and considering what happened when progressives went after the sponsors of Glenn Beck (remember him?)
