Bill O'Reilly selectively deplores political exploitation of children: 'I know more eight-year-olds than you know!'

Yesterday, Bill O'Reilly talked to gay activist Sally Kohn about eight-year-old 'activist' Elijah, who gave Michele Bachmann an earful about how her politics squared with his affection for his lesbian mom.
O'Reilly: It was obvious that the eight-year-old was coached... He was told what to do...
Kohn: Kids aren't raised in vacuums... This kid probably sees his family, his mother being attacked by politicians like Michelle Bachmann and no doubt he has a very clear opinion that his mom is a great mom and shouldn't be a political football. So good for him.
O'Reilly: I think you're living in the land of Oz... I know more eight-year-olds than you know. I know tons of 'em. None of 'em are thinking about gay rights. None of them would say: "My mommy's gay but she doesn't need any fixing... I know that 90% of the people watching agree with me... I don't think you use eight-year-old children or any children to make political points...
Really Bill? When was the last time you objected to any politician trotting out his kids to use as political props? How do you feel about the current Mitt Romney ad touting his wife and kids to dramatize the difference between his decades-old marriage and Newt Gingrich's three-so-far matrimonial history?
And you've been rather quiet, Mr. O'Reilly about those anti-gay organizations which exploit children with signage at their rallies. Oh, and what about those bibs now being flogged the National Organization for (heterosexual-only) Marriage affiliate group, the Ruth Institute...
The bib is $18.99 and comes in Cloud White, Petal Pink, Sky Blue and Kiwi, whatever the hell color that is. Jeremy Cooper, who noticed this fine merchandise, said "it's actually kind of perfect since reading the NOM/Ruth's daily work is enough to make anyone spit up!"
AKSARBENT wonders aloud if the Ruth Institute is named after the biblical Ruth of Ruth-and-Naomi fame, because what Ruth said to Naomi is often recited at "natural" marriages. If the Ruth Institute is a namesake of that Ruth, then Maggie Gallagher and at least one of her various subsidiaries really do have a wicked sense of fun.
“Do not press me to leave you or to turn back from following you! Where you go, I will go; where you lodge I will lodge; your people shall be my people, and your God my God. Where you die, I will die — there will I be buried. May the Lord do thus and so to me, and more as well, if even death parts me from you!” (Ruth 1:16-17)
