Godaddy.com founder brags about making elephant snuff video; competitor Namecheap runs promotion to get customers to switch

Bob Parsons, the sexist cretin who runs domain registrar godaddy.com, has made a video of himself shooting an elephant in Zimbabwe. Parsons does more than just murder elephants; he also has bagged a leopard and a trophy wife. PETA, which used godaddy.com, immediately switched to another web hoster. Competitor Namecheap was so disgusted that it ran a money-losing promotion to get people to switch from godaddy.com. (The promotion is now over, but Namecheap's rates are still quite competitive.)
“It’s not often that we would disagree publicly with a competitor, but we at Namecheap are very disturbed by this video of a competitor killing an elephant for sport.”
Namecheap is now offering to transfer domains from GoDaddy to Namecheap at a price so cheap that Namecheap loses money on those transactions.  In addition, it will donate $1 for every transfer to Save The Elephants.
PETA said this:
Parsons is hiding behind the lame claim that killing elephants helps farmers in Africa whose crops are damaged by the animals. In fact, there are ample effective and nonlethal methods to deter elephants from crops, including using chili-infused string and beehives on poles to create low-cost "fences." Instead of coming up with flimsy excuses for killing these highly intelligent and social animals, Parsons should use his wealth to fund humane solutions to human/elephant conflicts.
