KFAB broadcasts Rush Limbaugh's indecent solicitation for pornography; how to file a complaint with the FCC

Just because Ronald Reagan was successful in killing the Federal Communications Commission's fairness doctrine (a standard to which broadcasters used to be held in order to keep using the public's airwaves) doesn't mean that broadcast license holders are now permitted to habitually broadcast biased or distorted news or to solicit pornography via the publicly-owned airwaves licensed to them.

KFAB has allowed Rush Limbaugh to do both. You can complain about KFAB's abuse of its licensing responsibilities here. KFAB is conducting an online poll about Rush Limbaugh's show. Vote here.

Feel free to use the comment form beneath this post to document what local ads you have heard broadcast on KFAB (11 am to 2 pm, weekdays) during Limbaugh's show.

Local/Regional ads and PSAs heard on KFAB during Rush Limbaugh's show:
Edwards Hyundai, Council Bluffs, Iowa
Glassman Hearing Aid Technology, Omaha
Nebraska School Activities Association and NSIAAA
Menards

Here's Rush Limbaugh demanding to see a pornographic video depicting Sandra Fluke, broadcast on KFAB

You can also petition the White House to have Limbaugh removed from armed forces radio and replaced by someone more respectful of women here.

  3. You need to get this foul and evil person off you radio station! He has no business talking this way on public airways. There is no excuse for his behavior. Please do not stoop to his level. Remove him NOW!

  4. Sadly, the only way KFAB and other stations will remove Rush from their programming is if people like YOU call or write the advertisers supporting the radio station. Let those advertisers know that you will no longer consider their products or services as long as they are advertising on a station that broadcasts the Rush Limbaugh show. By supporting ANY advertiser of the station, you help keep the station in business and therefore able to pay for and broadcast the Rush Limbaugh show.
