NE Unicameral debates LGBT job bias bill Thursday. Here's what you can do to help it pass

Also: Omaha World-Herald to Unicameral: Pass LB586

The following post is via OutLinc from Paul Jarrett's facebook page (which is not open to non-facebook users). Debate and a vote was scheduled today but delayed because Sen. Bill Kintner introduced motion after motion to try to stall LB623, a bill requiring Nebraska, the sole state which doesn't, to issue driver's licenses to noncitizens lawfully residing in the state. AKSARBENT will tweet the passage or failure of LB586 (with the votes of each senator) and, later, will post video excerpts from the debate on this blog. Check back tomorrow or Friday if need be. Here's Thursday's Unicameral agenda.

Here's 3 stupid simple things you can can do RIGHT NOW to help...

       1. SOCIAL MEDIA: Use hashtags ‪#‎LB586‬ and ‪#‎EqualNE‬ on Twitter, Facebook, etc. Actually...>BOOM<...Here's a list of Senators: Join the conversation on Twitter now about equality in Nebraska by live-tweeting the legislative debate for LB 586, the LGBT employment nondiscrimination bill.
      2. EMAIL: Copy this list of emails in to your BCC field in an email with the subject "Support for LB 586" and >BOOM< you will have quickly contacted 48 Senators. Write them a quick note on why you support equal rights.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

     3. SHARE: Copy this post, tweak it, text it, email it, whatever...just do something RIGHT NOW.
