Virginia moon shot launch, photographed from Rockefeller Center in NYC

They weren't kidding when they said the NASA rocket carrying LADEE, the Lunar Atmosphere and Dust Environment Explorer robotic probe, would be widely visible on the East Coast to as many as 85 million people. Ben Cooper of LaunchPhotography took the long-exposure shot without a need to take leave the Big Apple for Virginia.
