After full court press in United Nations, Russia grudgingly includes language in new Olympic Truce resolution which obliquely covers LGBTs

The rough draft of the UN's biannual Olympic Truce resolution was written by Russia this year.
It mentioned a promise to include "people of different age, sex, physical capacity, religion race and social status" but made no mention of gay or transgender people.
After weeks of lobbying by UN reps from around the world, the truce now promises to “promote social inclusion without discrimination of any kind.”
No UN Olympic truce has ever mentioned LGBTs by name.
