Family Research Council, Nebraska's Family First affiliate, trashes US tourism commercial because it shows a gay couple for less than a second

So Dave Bydalek and his gang at Nebraska's Family First say they didn't engage in ANY homophobic disinformation to get 10,000 people to sign their petition to kill vote on an LGBT protection ordinance in Lincoln.
Of course not! They don't hate homos, they just don't want them to have any legal recourse if they happen to get jerked around arbitrarily, not that any Christer would do that...
But we're puzzled by Dave Bydalek's protestions nevertheless, on account of his web site brag that he and his peeps are affiliated with "Focus on the Family, The Family Research Council and The Alliance Defense Fund."
Surely you've heard of the Family Research Council. That's the outfit run by Tony Perkins! Here's part of his WikiPedia Entry to refresh your memory, if you need it:
In 1996, while managing the U.S. Senate campaign of Woody Jenkins against Mary Landrieu, Perkins paid $82,500 to use the mailing list of former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke. The campaign was fined $3,000 for filing false disclosure forms in a bid to hide the payment to Duke. Perkins has stated he did not know about the mailing list's connection to Duke.
On May 17, 2001, Perkins gave a speech to the Louisiana chapter of the Council of Conservative Citizens (CCC), a white supremacist group that has described black people as a “retrograde species of humanity." Perkins claimed not to know the group’s ideology at the time, but it had been widely publicized in Louisiana and the nation, just two years earlier.

Bydalek, of Nebraska's Family First, which describes itself as
"associated" with the FRC, an SPLA-designated hate group
So what have the good buddies of Nebraska's Family First — the Family Research Council — been up to lately? Well, they're really mad that a US government tourism commercial depicts a gay couple (for less than a second) in the 60-second version and, maybe, two seconds in the full-length version, below.
Here's what the head of the Family Research Council, Tony Perkins just said:
When Congress passed the Travel Promotion Act, people thought it'd be a great chance to highlight American attractions. What they didn't know is that it would highlight same-sex attractions. That's right. The commercial invites people to America-not to see the Grand Canyon, but to celebrate homosexuality.
Below is the US Tourism commercial that Family First of Nebraska's "associate" claims highlights same sex attractions and celebrates homosexuality.

Compare and contrast: here is a commercial made by the Israeli government to encourage tourism:
