Weekly Standard sends out marketing letter from homophobic nutcase Eugene Delgado; gets quick rebuke from Human Rights Campaign

Neocon chickenhawk Bill Kristol, editor of the conservative publication, has refused to condemn the email and isn't speaking to the press about it. Much more on this at Towleroad...

The following, excerpted from a leaked Weekly Standard internal email puts the publication's cynicism front and center:
From: Weekly Standard Marketing [mailto:members@direct.weeklystandard.com]

Subject: Congress to mandate pro-homosexual education?
The letter, by Eugene Delgado of Public Advocate, begins: Dear Pro-family American…
An excerpt: “In California, lawmakers want to ‘require schools to portray lesbians, homosexuals, transsexuals … as positive role models to children in all public schools.’ Sexual deviants being held up as models of virtue? If that makes you as sick as it makes me, you simply must join me in this battle for America’s children.”
See the full letter..but be forewarned. Eugene is sloppy and likes to repeat himself. He also likes the word “ramming.” We’ve tried to bold the exciting parts to cut down on the torture.

  1. You know what? If more people were to just live and let live, the world would be a much better place! Who gave any of us the right to tell another person how to live there lives? Unless their breaking the laws and hurting someone, then they have a right to live. God, is the only one who can pass judgement on any of us!
