ABC cancels dismal, offensive Work It after two episodes

The Hollywood Reporter says ABC has axed Work It after two airings. The premiere attracted fewer viewers than canceled predecessor, Man Up,  repeats of which will appear in its place.
Work It premiered lower than its canceled predecessor, Man Up, on Jan 3, drawing a 2.0 in the key adults 18-49 demographic and luring 6.1 million viewers. Its second airing tumbled 20 percent, dropping to a 1.6 in the demo and 5.1 million viewers.
Both the Human Rights Campaign and the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation asked ABC not to show he program at all, arguing that it reinforced false, stereotypes about transgender people.
